The resort is located in a beautiful part of Colorado in the town of Pagosa Springs. It's a close walk to many restaurants and shops and trails. The resort itself is very beautiful has several soaking pools. The hotel is very new and modern we had no complaints and they build themselves as one of the greenest hotels in America. The rooms have the roads you will need for the hot tubs as well as extra thick towels and as a guest you are able to access the hot springs 24 hours a day. Hot Springs can be crowded until about 9 when they close to all but the hotel guests. All in all it was a wonderful trip and we will definitely go back.
I did not stay here as a hotel guest. I did use the hot springs. It is a good price for the amount of pools they have. If you get here early you will have more than enough privacy without having to spend a lot of money. The pools were clean and the showers are clean. The walk ways outside are very slippery! They suggest you wear shoes, do that! They have a bathing suit dryer with plastic bags and you can rent towels and robes.
Great resort! Room was nice and the spas we're also fantastic! Very nice staff! The only issue was the beds were smaller than expected and the walls are a bit thin (woken up by some 1am "sounds").
The Pagosa hot springs themselves were absolutely amazing!!! Just don’t stay at the hotel “The Resort and Spa.” With how much you spend, you would think this hotel would be top notch... nope. We requested our room to be cleaned, they never came. We ran out of towels and requested more from the cleaning crew, they never came. When we arrived, the robes in the room were dirty. Thankfully we did get new ones. They changed the gate code while we were in the pools-so we had to climb and jump over the fence after standing in the cold for 20 minutes trying to get out. I am a 5 foot female jumping a 5 foot fence... so it didn’t happen with ease. Don’t waste your money on this hotel!
If I could leave a half a star I would. Messed up my reservations, booked 2 nights, added a couples massage they screwed that up as well not to mention 1 night stay not the 2 nights requested. Told us your room is right through doors by office. We got all our bags (no help unloading) walked through doors to find out we had to walk across parking lot and up 2 flights of stairs. Our dinner reservations never got made. Then the late check out the said was no problem was a problem and required additional 50 a hour for 2 hours more. We stayed in king suite (reg. Room no suite) bed was hard as heck... literally body indentions from previous guest no replacement for many many years. Save your money go somewhere else that will treat you right.
