A good local place to get everything from fly fishing equip. to snow gear. Staff is helpful, and not intrusive. Plus they have left handed bows, so a real plus for us left handers.
Joe is man! Helped me on on numerous occasions and always made time for me and mine. The rest of the staff is very pleasant helpful and will find the answer you are looking for if they don't know right off. Best shop in Pagosa.
I would like to express my appreciation for the guide service that Chase Peeler took me on. He is such a professional and sincerely wants his clients to learn how to fly fish. He considers himself a teacher more than a guide and he really proved that. He went way above and beyond to make an outstanding trip. I didn't feel as if I was on a guided trip but fishing with a friend. I highly recommend ski and bow rack and Mr. Chase Peeler. You will be more than impressed as he is such a sincere person and loves what he does. You do not have to worry about getting your money's worth with the ski and bow rack!!! The Ski and Bow Rack is the best place in Pagosa Springs for all your outdoor activities. The staff are the most friendly and knowledgeable. They can outfit you for any and all of your summer activities. If you want to learn to fly fish they will teach you. Then they will take you out and put you on the fish. You will not be disappointed with Ski and Bow Rack. They go out of their way to make sure your visit to their area is the best it can be.
Love that place I stop in every summer. I ask what flys I need to use and they always get me going. I get all my fishing supplies and license there. I also had Joe take me on a guided trip a few years ago and ever since I've been hooked on fly fishing.
