Food was ok, but good lord. The laziest restaurant workers I have ever seen. The food comes in plastic boxes, plastic utensils, you pour your own drinks, clear your own table, and pay prices as if you were in a nice restaurant. At the same time, the employees are standing around talking to each other doing nothing. Be sure to never tip.
Great food and even better service. Can't wait for my next visit. Awesome manager
Only dog-friendly place we could find for dinner. It seems Pagosa Springs passed some ordnance disallowing dogs even on outdoor patios. Odd - how do you keep out birds, mice, and squirrels? But this place had some way around that so we didn't need to leave our dog in the hot car. My pizza was OK - a lot of cheese and anchovies - but 2 inches of bare crust around the whole thing. Salmon sandwiches were very good. People were very nice.
This would be a five star review if not for our unfortunate experience with their waiter, Trent. I made sure to ask his name before leaving because the female working that day was, in sharp contrast, professional and helpful. Her customers all seemed delighted to be there and I don't want these actions to reflect on her.
Amazing food friendly staff good atmosphere, best place in town bring your appetite!!!!
It all started upon ordering, I asked what the ingredients were in the seasoning of a certain dish and he rudely said " Why, are you allergic to something? Tell me what it is and I will tell you if it's in there." After our food arrived, I asked for a little more seasoning and he replied, "That seasoning is expensive." I said "okay" as in, I was willing to pay more. He grudgingly brought some after talking to the cook. During our time there, I heard him speak to the waitress disparagingly about our "weird" order. She just kind of ignored him. Then, when he talked to the cook, he sounded like "these awful people are making my job so hard and trying to steal our recipes and our food". I did not express my dissatisfaction in any way. However, by the time we were ready to leave, I had a headache... I doubt it was from any ingredient in the food but, because of the treatment we received.
This happened several weeks ago, and hopefully he is no longer working there. I would love to bring my family back, as we are in Pagosa often and the food is great.
