Today Dr. Smith surgically extracted a compromised molar for me--one that had a root with the dreaded hook. He did this complicated extraction in little more than 15 minutes, and I only had a local anesthetic. It's now 10 hours later, and I am so pleased with the results. I only had one Ibuprofen (800mg) upon leaving the office and still am not experiencing any pain. I could hardly believe when he said it was completely out.
Dr. Smith is an excellent, skilled dentist. I checked prices with the oral surgeon in Durango who estimated $3500 for this procedure with general anesthesia and a bone graft (neither of which was necessary) and in Santa Fe the estimate was around $1500. Dr. Smith charged a mere fraction of these amounts for the procedure. Need I say that I couldn't be happier?
They created my husband a night guard, he had it one night, it broke when he dropped it on the floor. So we took it for repair, it took several weeks to get repaired, and when we got it back it was such on off fit, we questioned that is what the right gaurd. We returned it, and never got it back and they refuse to even give us part of our money back. Every time I called they would say they would locate it and call me back. So basically we paid a lot of money for nothing.

Aside from some fillings, Dr. Smith performed an extraction and an extremely complicated implant on my husband.
Woke up with horrible pain! Called MANY dentists in the area.. This wonderful dentist came in on his day off (a Saturday) and gave me and emergency root canal! Immediate relief. I will continue to recommend anyone to this office. It was a very happy, homey feel with great service!
