It takes one rude employee to ruin a day. Their prices are high, they research on what to gouge. Visit it more than 2 dozen times to verify. There's a Walmart half a mile away, many health food stores that have a better selection, and yes though they are the only local supermarket with a variety of organic and natural products, there are alternatives. Some things might be a little spendy but the quality of fresh meats and vegetables is unbeatable in pagosa springs!
The best place in town for produce, but slightly lacking in the other areas. You can't go wrong with their loyalty program though!
We are visiting for 5 weeks. I just left the store and was astonished at the quality of the fish and the meats as well as the Butcher and his helper. They cut my salmon exactly the way I wanted it into the size pieces I wanted as they did the prime rib. I appreciate the fine customer service as I know every customer does.
Good Kroger grocery store. It has been upgraded significantly in the past few years.
