I got a snowboard from here that was a decent looking board. However it was made for some one who never rides goofy. Which I explicitly told them I did.
One of many ski rentals in the area. This one was close to where we stayed at the Whyndham resort. We had a great experience and received good equipment. I noticed the reviews are quite varied. I think this has to do with the time you arrive to drop off or pick up your equipment. If you set an early time and arrive you have the place to yourself. Otherwise, it will be very crowded and hecktic. This is to be expected. Just talk to the staff. They can tell you when the best times to arrive so you can get in and out with what you need.
I had the worst customer service I have ever had here. The workers are very nice and ready to help-but they don't know what they are doing. I was brought the wrong boot size that I had to figure out and let them know it was wrong.
I am right foot forward and after TELLING them it was wrong twice, they finally realized it was wrong. Then after a few runs on my first day, my bindings came off of my one foot and broke
After letting them know this. They were a bit apethethic and told me to hang out a few hours so they could find me something else. I didnt have time to wait to maybe get a ski. So I then went to Pagosa Ski and Rental where they helped me out quickly and didnt make promises that they can't keep. Upon delivering all my other family members skis back to alpine Haas. They then told me that it wouldnt have been an hour wait and also that they didnt say they would refund me the one day that they had told me they would because I found something somewhere else. Just get everything in writing.
Have rented skis/snowboard gear for five different seasons. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Never any issues with billing. Prices are fair. Will return next year.
They were very accommodating! I was in a rush to find ski rentals for 17 individuals and they could not have been more friendly and helpful. Selection was excellent and the quality was as good as I could have expected. They have the best rental prices in town as well. I would highly recommend.
