I got my custom Out West Saddlery saddle two weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! I have never sat on any western saddle that is made with such a balance, where my legs can hang freely under my hips and I don't have to force them back. My background is in dressage and I also ride Western so several years ago I went on the quest to find a western saddle that feels like a dressage saddle and has similar contact. Well… Two custom saddles and three production saddles later I finally found my dream saddle. The craftsmanship is beyond beautiful and everything about it is stunning. The leather is of the highest quality, the all brass hardware is beautiful as well, and the comfort for my bony back end is amazing. One of my horses is an Arabian and he's very sensitive. He always lets me know whenever his tack isn't just perfect. In all the saddles I've ridden in the past he would usually carry his head high and hollow his back because he was uncomfortable. The first time I rode him and my new Outwest saddle I could immediately tell the difference. He started licking and chewing almost immediately and lowered his head and stretched his back. He used to go the entire ride without blowing out through his nose and now he will blow several times while I'm riding him. My horse is definitely the happiest he's ever been in any saddle. I couldn't be happier with the saddle and I recommend it to anyone who is a comfort and quality connoisseur. Thank you Bob Beecher!
I don't know what I would do without my customized stock saddle. My horse loves it too! Terri and Bob worked with me to be sure the saddle fit both me and my horse. They checked measurements and double checked them before building the saddle, the result was an exceptional fit for me and my horse! The customer service is phenomenal. I have purchased many other items from Out West Saddlery and the quality is alway great. I highly recommend them!

The artistic talent and experience Bob, Terri, and Estella bring to each project is unsurpassed. I love my chinks and saddle and so does my horse. Out West Saddlery really is a Cowboy and Cowgirl Candy Store. The custom saddles and tack, chinks and chaps, and other western gear are top quality. The Out West Herbs and the herb program recommended by Terri, Evaluator, has made a tremendous improvement in my horse's overall health. Out West Saddlery and Out West Herbs are #1 in my book!!!!

Bob will take into consideration everything you want in a saddle, and build it from the ground up. No staples, no shortcuts, no compromise on quality. Terri will listen to all your concerns and questions and answer with her considerable knowledge—and never give you the sense she's in a hurry. If you want unique tooling and specialized designs, Estella will work her magic on your leather. I've bought a few saddles over the years, from other companies, and the customer service I received at Out West Saddlery was so heartfelt, so competent, and just plain "real" in that old-time kind of way we all yearn for!
