The river was way to rough I flipped of and lost my tube. I hit my foot on a rock, and scraped my leg really bad. My family told me to walk back and there it was tough. They need life guards on the side. My dad lost his hat and went underwater for 5 seconds. My mom lost her shoe. And everybody went under water for awhile. I had to wait for 45 minutes for them to get back. Worst experience ever
We took the short 1 hour rafting trip and it was perfect for our 3 boys as the water was freezing! Our guide was awesome and quickly learned all of our names. It was a great time and a definite highlight of our trip!
We had never white water tubed before and the staff explained where you start and where you are to get out. We got all our rentals there and made it really convenient if you need river booties and life jackets. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS FOR THE SAN JUAN RIVER so if you're unable to swim, this isn't for you or at least get a life jacket! Our toes were warm in the booties. The river was pretty tame for us and refreshing. Loved the experience! Staff was very friendly. Our driver (forgot his name. Older man) was awesome, very knowledgeable about the town and recommended a great place for lunch. We took home some shirts and a great experience!
Had a blast tubing! Easy access to the river from their shop. The shuttle made it even better
We had a great time. Logan, our guide, taught us a lot and was very entertaining. All the guides we encountered were respectful, kind and so capable. We decided to go on the river rafting trip to celebrate my friend"s 70th birthday, and me, just happy to be alive. The rafting trip really energized us. We loved it so much we went again two days later.
