The team at Sutton is truly amazing. My husband and I came to Pagosa for our wedding anniversary. Our 6.0 would not fire the first morning we woke up here, and after some phone calls, we had our truck towed to their shop. Fred and Dave were quick to tell us our options, and clearly saw the sadness and panic on our faces. We were sure that our get-away was ruined. Fred blessed us with a donor vehicle so that we could still enjoy our time in town as they figured out what was to be done with our truck. They diagnosed it and found that she had some dead injectors and blown out glow plugs. Instead of replacing just the dead parts like a big city shop would, they replaced all 8 injectors, and all 8 glow plugs. Fred bent over backwards for us, and wasn't about to let us get burned on our trip. We dropped it off Thursday afternoon for diagnostics, and Fred let us know on Friday that we could drive her away Sunday(as they had personal obligations to handle over the weekend.) Dave and Lucas worked hard after closing on Friday, and had the truck completely done Friday night and we were able to pick it up Saturday. My husband would normally work on his own vehicle but the needed tools were 300 miles away. Sutton is the definition of small-town ingenuity, at it's finest. I will always recommend them to anyone who needs ANY sort of work done to their vehicle in this area. Thank you guys! You are truly a blessing.
Very friendly, honest, hard working staff! They want the best for your vehicle and are very reasonable! My fiance and I came from out of state and needed to get our vehicle checked out after a long drive, they got us in immediately and made us feel safe knowing our vehicle is in top shape.
I'm from Michigan and started having engine issues on a road trip. Sutton Automotive extended their hand and made the whole experience as painless as it could've been. They even gave us a ride to a nearby hotel! Friendly, professional, and timely. Dexter and Otis, the shop dogs, also helped lift my spirit :)
I called them at closing but the owner not only waited on me but called a tow truck to pick me up. We were only visiting and they were very quick to figure out the issue and even gave us a loaner for the day. Great local hospitality.
