Nice mexican restaurant. I ordered the mole chicken enchiladas tasted just like the ones in Mexico. Damn good. The margaritas are to die for. Will be back next time around.
I was disappointed in our service. The food was fine but from the front door to our table it was not friendly. I've been a resident and a tourist from Pagosa Springs and this was the first time at Tequila's that I didn't feel they have the right people working for this resturant.
The waitstaff has some con artist so watch what you're actually paying. Split a meal between cash and card..ended up realizing after I paid almost $10 extra on a meal that was suppose to be $32. Also tipped the guy so he got more than that. Not surprising, it probably happens a lot since this is a tourist spot. Trashed my receipt and he never accounted how much I paid in cash on paper so didn't go back to make a fuss, since I'm sure the guy would lie. Food was good, though because of this experience I wouldn't go again or recommend.
Food was reasonable, not too bad. Prices okay. Location really great with views over the river. Service was all right, not great ... we had two waiters and I couldn't quite figure out their division of labor, which okay whatev. One guy was very cheery and the other a bit sulky, both gave adequate service with no excessive waits for anything.
Last time I will eat here. The waiter doesn't listen to a dam thing. I asked for a refill and he said ok and never came back had to get another waiter to get me a refill. Told them what we wanted to eat and said we r sharing it. And he kept asking what everybody wanted. He finally got the point. Then we waited forever for are food. This place sucks and won't come back. Don't recommend it either
